Use a short evidence record, not a composite star rating. The following is the desk’s proposed decision framework; it is not an externally validated scoring system.
| Decision area | Evidence to request | Recommended reason to pause |
|---|---|---|
| Process | Named cutter, pattern-development explanation and fitting stages | The bespoke claim remains undefined |
| Feasibility | Confirmed appointment windows and correction contingency | The plan requires accepting an unresolved fit before departure |
| Cloth and construction | Written references, construction specification and substitution permission | The order leaves material choices unspecified |
| Accountability | Named correction owner and written remedy terms | Workshop and fitter have not accepted their respective responsibilities |
| Economics | Comparable quotations and documented cost assumptions | The apparent saving relies on unknown charges being zero |
| Repeat orders | Accepted pilot and updated production record | Additional garments would be cut before the first is approved |
Label each finding independently checked, supplier-stated, buyer-provided or unresolved. A website promise is evidence of what a supplier advertises; it is not evidence that an individual commission was executed as promised. Missing documentation should prompt clarification, not an automatic accusation of misconduct.
