Recommended release conditions for one pilot suit:

  • [ ] Named contracting business and matching invoice.
  • [ ] Written cloth reference, composition and substitution approval process.
  • [ ] Defined pattern and fitting commitments—not merely the word “bespoke.”
  • [ ] Named responsibility for corrections and remakes.
  • [ ] Confirmed collection, courier or postal route.
  • [ ] Dated import estimate with unresolved charges visibly marked.
  • [ ] Supplier confirmation of applicable labeling and product-compliance treatment.
  • [ ] Clear payment-dispute and complaint timetable.
  • [ ] Agreed handling of measurements and photographs.
  • [ ] No release of a larger wardrobe until the pilot has been assessed.

Bottom line: use regulation to improve documentation and accountability, not to infer tailoring quality. If a supplier cannot explain who sells, imports, fits and corrects, pause the deposit—even if its advertised garment price is attractive.
