Shortlist a service and a fitter—not a city-wide reputation. The sources below demonstrate different advertised operating formats. They do not support declaring one city the universal winner for executive business suits.
What do the Vietnamese examples actually publish?
| Provider and location | Supplier-stated evidence found | Why it is useful for comparison | What remains unresolved |
|---|---|---|---|
| BeBe, Hoi An | Describes a next-day first fitting, subsequent adjustments and additional fittings if required. (bebetailor.com) | A concrete visitor-oriented process to test against a travel schedule | Individual-pattern method, the construction of the quoted suit and enforceable post-departure terms |
| TIE MEN, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi | Describes a paper pattern drafted for the individual, successive fittings and a restrained house style. (tiemen.vn) | Relevant starting evidence for a conservative business-suit brief | Commission-specific timing, retained-pattern arrangements and overseas correction responsibility |
| DUAN, Ho Chi Minh City | Separately publishes bespoke, made-to-measure and virtual services; its bespoke process includes intermediate fittings. (duantailor.com) | Allows the buyer to ask for a clearly identified service rather than a generic “custom suit” | Which stages and remedies apply to the actual quotation |
| WAS Concept, Ho Chi Minh City / Singapore | Advertises Vietnam measurement and making with Singapore collection, plus Singapore consultations and fittings. (wasconcepttailor.com) | A published cross-border operating example | It does not establish a US fitting partnership; obtain the precise handover and correction terms |
How to use the cities: if your itinerary already includes Hoi An, compare the actual visitor-service proposal. In Ho Chi Minh City, distinguish the supplier’s bespoke, MTM and remote offers. For Hanoi, seek the same commission-level evidence rather than assuming a more conservative city reputation establishes the required silhouette.
What recent location change matters?
TIE MEN’s official notice says its partnership at the former Da Nang location ended October 15, 2026. A new showroom is anticipated in early November, but its address and opening date were not confirmed on the reviewed page. Do not treat that anticipated opening as an available fitting location. This is why a shortlist should include an evidence date and confirmed appointment location—not merely a supplier name copied from an earlier directory.
